I FOUND one!

I've been in search of an animal rescue because I really want to be able to give as much as I can. I was and still may start the Pet Funding, but right now I can't find anybody interested in helping me. In stead I found a super rescue to help. K-9 Resque! They save dogs from high kill animal shelters plus they just started a Kibble Kitchen. Kibble Kitchen is for those who are struggling to afford food for their dog or cat. I'm so excited to be a part of this rescue and hope that it continues to work out for me. If you'd like to volunteer, adopt or foster a dog please let me know. Or you can visit their site and contact them.

Seeking Animal Lovers in Michigan

I am now on a mission more than ever before to help rescue the animals (dogs/cats) of this area from being euthenized just because they can't find anybody to adopt them in the time a shelter requires. In addition, I've found first had how hard it can be to pay for a furry family members vet bills when you are experiencing financial hardship (not low income). I haven't decided 100% if I will combined both crusades or just do the Pet Funding. First I need to find at least 5 other people who feel the same way as I do so they can help me through this journey. If you are at all interested PLEASE leave me a comment and I will get back to you.

Thank you so much!

The results

They didn't help me feel much better. It appeared that he was a little over medicated for his thyroid problem which is why he started to lose weight (this would not cause him to be in the condition he was). He also had slight levels raised for his kidneys and white blood count which could have been a result of his diarrhea. Other than that he had a perfect test. The vet was quiet shocked when I told him that I had to put him down because his lungs sounded great on Thursday. But he did reassure me that if he was going through everything I described I made the right decision. That doesn't make me feel any better. Bear was also my protector when hubby went to work so now I have none and feel vulnerable. I just don't think I could possibly get another dog right now or anytime soon. A cat, maybe, but what good will that do as far as protection? I'm so messed up right now and it sucks!

I would really love to get involved with an animal rescue and I sorta am now, but it isn't enough. The organization is a bit small so they really don't have much for me (or at least they aren't giving it to me). I also thought about fostering, but that could be a lot of work as well because a lot of the animals require some training and I really don't have the time for that. I also thought about checking with my vet to see if they could use volunteers. I'd love to work in the office for free (no I'm not that nuts I just have a passion for it). And then I thought about starting my own nonprofit for those that are experiencing financial hardship that can't afford their vet bills. But that sounds like a TON of work and I have no idea where to start. I'm done rambling now :)

The Worst EVER

I had to make the worse decision to have my dog put to sleep! I'm so devastated. I adopted him 13 years ago from Animal Welfare Society when he was only 5 1/2 weeks old. He was abandoned at Kmart in the bitter cold. He went through everything with me, my divorce, my move, etc.

He would comfort me when I would cry and would get so excited when I got home. He took a turn for the worse on Saturday night and I had to take him to emergency vet hospital. The bad thing is I haven't even gotten the test results back from the vet visit on Thursday. I will get them tomorrow and now all I can do it hope they were bad so I feel better about my decision. He could barely breath, he was turning blue and very weak. I could tell when he looked at me that he was really suffering. All of his symptoms point towards congestive heart failure (I did some research online). Please pray that my grieving process passes soon. My heart aches for him. Thank you!

I feel it!

I need to create before I just pass out! It's killin me now that it's been so long and I've done DIDDLY! I want to start on my sons scrapbook before he turns 18 haha (17 more years to go). Perhaps I'll start that next week since my husband is being laid off AGAIN! It's funny how just a few years ago working for the Big 3 was a great thing and now it's one of the worse. Our future is so unstable it isn't even funny. I'm sure ya'll have been effected some way or another by this horrible economy. My husband and I went from just about being totally debt free (everything except our house) to just about ready to file for bankruptcy (I didn't say we were I said READY to)! If this is a nightmare will somebody wake me PLEASE! If it really is reality then I guess I need to tighten up my boot straps and figure out some ways to cut back. What have you done to cut back? Let me know. It would be nice to see who's still reading my blog anyhow.

On top of all that my dog is sick again! In about the last week he has gradually stopped eatting. He is to the point now that he won't eat any dog food. He only eats what I cook him (lamb, ground beef, chicken) and it's not because he's getting spoiled. I think he only eats it because it's food he never gets. Ya know like chocolate, no matter how sick you are you'll still get it down. He has an icky case of diahera (sp), coughing and lost about 6 pounds in a month (due to not eating I hope). So we took him to the vet, which we can't afford, and $200 later they did a fecal sample and blood panel. We should get results next week, but in the mean time they are treating him for gastro infection. They said because his symptoms are so vague it could be the flu to cancer. He has no fever btw. So pray for my puppy who is 13 years old.

I DID IT!

I've been in direct sales for oh.....13 years and have NOTHING to show for it. Before all you non DS believers say "yea that's because that stuff don't work" read on....

My biggest fear ever was to go into strange people's houses. Therefore I'd do the parties within my group, which usually didn't result in any bookings because I would never ask in hopes of not having to go to some strange house. So I'd do about 3 shows and be done. Then move on to the next "fabulous" company.

Over the years, as you can imagine, I've gathered some things from many companies. About a month and a half ago I decided enough was enough! I had a member of my WIN group, talk about her business and how she had a $6.2 million dollar team last year. That in itself floored me to have somebody so close be so successful. I thought, that is who I'm looking for! They say if you want to be successful you have to surround yourself with successful people (you are who you hang around with). After talking with her I decided to join Tastefully Simple and give it all I have. So, I'm writing a book over ONE accomplishment haha.

My upline had given me a lead for a show she could not do. I did it yesterday! I never met this woman or her guests before-complete strangers. It was SOOOO fun to meet new people. It was interesting to learn a little about each one. The sales aren't great right now because she also had a jewelry party going at the same time, however it did result in at least 2 bookings and she is rebooking for January (total of 3 bookings). I see that as a total success! Your business ends if you get no bookings, so with 3 my business will continue. That is just for this hostess I have other shows booked :)

This post was written prior to coffee, that's my excuse if it makes no sense.

Networking

I'm always looking for new opportunities to network with other people, especially women. Have you heard of the Direct Selling Women's Alliance (DSWA)? We meet once a month and if you are in Direct Sales this meeting is AWESOME and a must attend type of meeting. One member of the group will usually be on the "bid table", which means they get about 15 minutes to give their pitch to the group. You can place an order with that person if you'd like and the hostess credits usually go to the group to be raffled off for future meetings. Then we do an educational portion where I've learned so many awesome things. If you are local (in Michigan) and would like more details let me know. It really is an awesome place to be. However, they do not allow recruiting of their members so if that is your main goal forget it.

I also run a women's networking group and we'll be doing our membership drive in January. For this meeting I only allow one person per category so your competition is locked out. Also a great networking opportunity.

I find myself always looking for new groups in the winter that won't break the bank. If you know of one locally let me know. I'm considering joining one of the Motor City Connect groups, but I hear some good, but some bad so I'm not sure. Maybe I should just be a judge for myself. Since joining Tastefully Simple I really want to get focused and get my name out there. I've eliminated all the other companies I'm with and I feel soooo much better. I made it a goal to hit $1000 this month and I'm just about there. I should make it by Saturday at the latest and I can't wait. I think it will be the first time in my DS history that I have sold $1000 of any product in one month. What an accomplishment!

Catch up!

Ew! I just noticed I haven't posted anything since September. How disappointing. It's unbelievable how nearly 3 months have went by. We went shopping today (not a big shopping trip) after dinner and man the snowflakes were coming down and they were HUGE! I'd have to say it was beautiful. Maybe because I really don't have to drive in it to a J.O.B. I used to hate it. Either that or after living in Georgia for 5 years and not really having any snow or the 4 seasons I've learned to appreciate them.

So you ask, what have I been up to? Where do I start? I've been putting a lot of time and effort into making my women's group, Women In Networking (aka WIN of Macomb), to make it a success, run more smoothly and make sure my members see value in it. It's working, YAY! I've also decided to expand it. Our main meeting right now meets in the morning, which isn't good for everybodies schedule so in January we will launch a PM meeting which will meet once a month. Then in February with the help of Kathy Gambino with Delicious Marketing we will launch a Business 2 Business group (for women only). Then in the spring I'm hoping to open up a group on the West Side. We only allow one person per business classification so if you are interested please email me at winofmacomb@gmail.com asap to see if your category is open.

I have gotten rid of all of my other direct sales companies (I still purchase Mary Kay just for personal use) and started with Tastefully Simple like 2 months ago. I LOVE it! I can't believe I actually do home shows and love it. I think the reason I've become more comfortable is because of my woman's group. There is no time to be shy and hidden. I have to get out there and meet new people and I love it. I still need some work though haha.

On another note, my baby will turn ONE on Wednesday. I'm so excited, but he is not longer my little baby. He's getting so big, walking and getting into EVERYTHING. Makes me want another but we can't in this small house we are in :( He has this new fascination with pigs haha. There is a new show on Noggin (not sure what it's called) and then when Peppa Pig comes on he stops dead on his tracks to watch it. Kinda funny.

Well maybe this time I REALLY will start posting at least once a week. We'll see.....stay tuned....

Expos

Ever buy a new car and then realize you and about 20 million other people have the same car or even the same color (and you thought you'd picked something not many others would pick)? That's how I feel about women's expo's. It seems like every group is doing them now and is starting to get a little saturated. As long as they are spread out throughout the year it's not so bad, but when you have several in one month it's time for a change. Have you ever attended one of these expos? What did you think? Was it worth going to? Give me your opinon by clicking on comment below. I'd love to take that into consideration for next year. In the mean time, don't forget to visit Women In Networkings expo on Sunday September 21st from 11am-4pm at the Best Western Concorde Inn in Clinton Township. Meet Paula Tutman from Channel 4 News! For complete details and to preregister to be entered to win a gift basket visit www.winofmacomb.com.

This Blog

Well I have't kept up with it much and I'm hardly stampin/scrappin. Which totally sucks! I just joined Dawn's stamp club so I will be doing somethings there. I suppose I should take pics of the few things I've done here and there. Ok, now I'm rambling.

I've decided that I'm going to make this blog my general blog. Not just about stamping and crafts, but about everything. I can't make 10 different blogs and expect to keep up on them. I do have 2 different ones for my women's group and those are hard enough. I have two because I love blogspot because it's easy, but I don't always like their templates. The one at wordpress is nicer, but it's harder to use and they don't have as many features.

So I hope that you will still keep me on your blog roll and continue to visit. I too, will keep watching your blogs.

Thanks for your patience!

We're in the NEWS!!!!

So I'm trying to get a few swaps going on Split Coast (a snack swap and a fall swap). Not going so well. Maybe it's partly because I'm busy and haven't had a chance to really tell many about it??? Who knows! BUT you can see my women's group in the news next week!

If you go to this link http://www.candgnews.com/Homepage-Articles/2008/7-9-08/EF-WIN.asp you can view our story, which is set to print in the Eastsider next week. They are also going to try to get it into the Warren Weekly, but there may be no room.

WOO HOO!!!! I'm so excited I could scream....off to surgery (minor) now lol

Have a super day!

Here I am!

Did you miss me? Sorry I've been extremely busy with my women's networking group. It's turning into a full time job. We have an expo coming up in September so I'm looking for vendors. We are also producing a coupon book and sales from the book go to Rainbow Connection. OH! Did I mention the expo is a fundraiser for Rainbow Connection as well. In addition to that, we are raising money for Habitat For Humanity Women Build. Every Wednesday in July, from 9am-12pm at Biggby Coffee in Roseville $1 of each drink sold goes to Women Build. July 19th will be family day at Biggby with money also going to Women Build. AND I'm starting a women's newspaper. YEP! I'm busy :)

But a few months back I joined a teddy bear swap and finally finished them. I thought I better hurry since they are due July 1st. YIKES! You can't really tell from the pick, but the belly has fun flock on it. Man, what therapy that was. I should do therapy once a week haha. Enjoy....

I've been Tagged!

It's been way too long since I've posted. My women's networking group Women In Networking is having a women's expo in September so I am preparing for that. We are currently looking for vendors, but others can go to our website and register for a gift basket. PLUS we are doing a coupon book and looking for sponsors for ads. Ads start at just $25. Once we have the book filled we will be selling them for $10 each and the money will go to Rainbow Connection. Besides, baby, husband, house, I've been swamped. I usually make my mom a calendar page each month and she hasn't gotten one since April. OOPS! In the mean time, my friend Dawn has tagged me so here it goes.....

10 years ago I was: Married, to a different man and getting ready to divorce. I've since remarried and I've already out done this one haha. Where was he 10 years ago. Shortly after I relocated to Atlanta Georgia, which I absolutely love, because he went psycho on me. I was working at Home Depot as a Customer Service rep and decided that I would try to get into home office there doing what I love, accounting. But turns out the corporate people are treated like dirt so I stayed with the store. I could go on, but it says 10 years ago not my life story haha

5 things on my to-do-list today: Clean my house (ick), do my moms June calendar page, get more vendors, get a business plan together, get sponsors for my coupon book.

Snacks I love: CHOCOLATE! Ice Cream, popcorn, need I say more??? I like Dawn am not doing so well with the weight thing because I lurve my snacks. I'm trying the 100 calorie packs now in hopes that it will help.

Things I will do when I am a millionaire: pay off my house, payoff my debt, buy my mom and sister a house, donate to charity and fund my sons education plan should he decide to go to college. OH! And hire a live in nurse for my grandmother so she can have more freedom from my sick grandfather.

Places I have lived: My whole life? I could be here all day! In Michigan: Hamtramick, Warren, New Baltimore, Sterling Heights, Roseville, Clinton Township, Detroit. In Georgia: Atlanta and Hinesville (45 minutes southwest of Savannah).

Now I am suppose to tag 4-5 people, however I'm so busy I don't have time to look up websites, contact them yada yada. So anybody on my list along the right feel free to tag yourself from me. Yeah I know that's lame, but I'm super busy and baby is waking up.

YES!

I'm FINISHED! (with the wedding project). It was fun and I appreciated it, however, it was my first big project and well I just didn't imagine my first one would be for 300 people lol. So when I get the 150 people weddings it should be a breeze!!! So after a VERY stressful week I took a bubble bath. OMG! I used to take these about twice a week, but once baby came those went out the window. So the girl I made the stuff for she bought me a nice bath set so I put it right to work! Now I can start focusing on my teddy bear swap and other FUN things WOO HOO

Dinner Menu

Well, here is one of the three projects I've been working on for my friends, cousins wedding. I will have the cookie tags to post later and the menu's probably tomorrow or Thursday. This was one BIG project, but I enjoyed it because it gave me experience. Although I noticed when I created things on my own, it turned out better than trying to copy an idea from Stampin Up's idea book. I usually grab ideas from several places and clump them into my own, as did with this menu. I used vellum on top of Certainly Celery and Very Vanilla cardstock. Not sure if you can notice in the pic, but there is a tad of glitter in the two stamped images at the bottom.

Shew!!!!

I sure do love to be busy and I betcha ya'll thought I curled up in a corner somewhere lol. I was hoping to at least show you the menu's I am making for a wedding, but a friend of mine borrowed my small hold punch and I can't get a hold of her. So...instead I will share with you what I made at my friends Dawn's Stamp Camp since I don't think I shared with you what I made last time :( We made two cards, a bag and a post it note holder (this time). The one with the ribbon around it was referred as a slip knot (I think) and boy was that a fun challenge. I loved making that card cuz we used a really cool technique with plastic wrap. You just bunch it up, dab it on your ink pad, then onto your paper. It's so easy and unique. I loved the bag because she made up 4 white and milk chocolate dipped pretzel rods. Only problem is only 3 made it into the bag lol OOPS! shhhh The post it note holder was my FAVORITE! It was easy, but of course she has the spots that needed to be scored already done. Anyhow, not I'm behind on laundry, if anybody would care to join me come on over :D I'm hoping to get more stuff posted tomorrow.

Here We go again....

Ok, I need to start thinking of another excuse as to why I haven't blogged. I'm too busy is getting old and lame. But seriously...I LOVE to be busy. So I get involved in all kinds of stuff. Well I'm learning, the hard way, that with a child you can't be doing that. So I've decided that since all the stuff I do can be put into one, that's what I'm doin! Right now I'm working on a project for a friends cousin doing her wedding programs. She invited 400 people! So far I'm only doin 300 until she gets more rsvp's. PLUS she wants 30 dinner menu's for her tables to start. Yes it's alot, however, it's really gone smoothly :D I will certainly post the final outcome soon. Along with other little things I've done along the way. MAYBE I can even put that on my priority list for tomorrow :D. Ok...I'm off to finish watching The Biggest Loser finale WOO HOO GO ALY!

MAD!

I just nearly wrote a book, got an error message and lost it all! AAAAAAHHHHHHHH I need another coffee! Ok, so I was rambling about not posting cuz I'm too lazy to take pics of my work from Dawn's Stamp Camp. And how I decided to copy off of her and post about my favorite color. Welp, I can't pick just ONE color. I love pink, brown and purple, but Purple best describes me so I decided to pick that one. Anyhow, I gotta go to bed before I choke somebody now lol

What Your Favorite Color Purple Says About You:

Intuitive --- Seeking --- Creative

Kind --- Self-Sacrificing --- Growth Oriented

Strong --- Very Wise --- Rare

Behind again

Man, I'm terrible at posting pics of my work, but I hope ya'll don't feel bad cuz I haven't updated my MySpace page with baby pics for my sister neither :(. It's one thing to post, but to upload the pics and get them all organized takes some time. And when baby is asleep I need to utilize that time as wisely as possible. Welp, I've been doin a whole lota NOTHING lately lol. So here's some of my work. The bird one, was something I had to make for a friend with a quickness. Let me just tell you, under that pressure (I had 15 minutes to figure out what I was gonna do and put it together) I was sweating and shaking lol. The other two are projects I'm going to make at my first SU shindig. I can post them here because nobody that's coming visits my blog anyhow.
Oops! I forgot to mention that my upline Dawn is the one who helped me create the two projects we are going to do at my workshop. I have to keep them very basic because the people attending don't even know what a stamp is lol. The think it's something you put on a letter to mail. Ok...now you know what I'm dealing with lol I'm excited though cuz I know they be hooked.

I have a local womens networking group I run and we've decided that in addition to our website we are going to do a blog as well. I decided to use Word Press because I'm not familiar with it and there's only one way to learn lol. I don't have much on it yet, but check it out here. Leave a comment, let me know what you think. If you are local and would like to check us out let me know that too. We'd love to have ya :D

2 New additions

Man! I'm lovin this SU paper. I am not liking winter right now so anything that reminds me of spring makes it better :) Not sure what I did different to make the baby card look better with my camera but ok.
Now I'm gonna jump subjects. I'm so upset about Bella changing her shipping charges! I noticed she has a Jeep girl and I am, of course, a Jeep girl. So I wanted to order TWO stamps, they totaled about $15. Shipping? It's $10.29! WHAT IS SHE THINKING? I will NOT be able to afford that for two stamps. UGH! I REALLY need PMS and Chef Bella so if anybody has any images I'd even be willing to swap with what I have. Thanks :D

Continued.....

Here's the other two cards that I made yesterday, for some reason it would only allow me to post 3 in my last post. OH! And because I'm polish the Thank you card did not turn out like it was suppose to lol. It was suppose to be diag. (can't spell haha) like the cake, but I was half butt backwards yesterday lol.

WHOA! YAHOO! YIPEE!!!!!

I got my SU kit and I'm BURSTING with excitment. I went on a card makin frenzy yesterday and I'm fixin to do more this afternoon. Sounds dumb, but I got so overwhelmed with so much materials I didn't know what to do lol. So I got some ideas off of SCS. My Bella was a whole different ordeal. The pink part is kinda bare cuz I wanna add something there I just don't know what yet. I am going to post again after this because I believe I have other images to share with ya'll. I'm doin the HAPPY DANCE :D

Winter Blues

Well it seems like I've let my blog fall to the way side again. I figured I better post before ya'll think I fell off the face of the earth. I have pics to put up, but I've been feelin really blah. Well now I know why, not only did Aunt Flo visit (TMI I know), but I have a sinus infection, I think. My head is soooo fuzzy and throbbin' right now I can't even think. I haven't even felt like stampin/scrappin :(

I'm so lost about my goals for this year. I know this is gonna be my year, but if I don't get my butt in gear it'll end up like last year. Here today, gone tomorrow. I just don't know what I wanna focus on. I'm with Mary Kay, but for the first time in my career I will be inactive. Most just aren't buying. I'm guessing it's from the economy, but then again we have other consultants in our unit that are makin it so maybe it's me. I'm not the pushy type. I have joined SU, for the most part to get the discount and do a Stamp Camp here and there. Basically a hobby consultant.

So as I sit confused and ya'll are gonna think I've lost my mind I went to a Pampered Chef Show. I've been using the same consultant for at least 3 years now. She's tried and tried to get me to join and I didn't want to. I am obsessed with PC! But there commission just isn't great, to me. Well she started talking about the other things PC offers and I was like WHOA! So I said FINE I'll do it! I'm really really excited! I don't think I've ever been so excited about a company before. Basically because I truely believe in and love the product. Who knows where I'll end up, but if anything I'll have a kit (which I already have most of) and some extra cash. So we'll see....stay tuned to my soga lol

Better :D

Ok, I know what you're saying now (if you read my post below), who's calling who anal? lol I may just change that beige paper on the one I did before because this one is MUCH better.

A card a day....

Keeps the crabbiness away lol. I know that don't rhyme, but I couldn't think of anything else. I have so much fun making cards. This card came from inspiration from a card I made at Lynn's Stamp Camp. I was gonna do the vertical image mounted on cardstock (see below), then this idea came to mind. I wasn't sure where to put the rest of the words so I put it at the bottom of the beige paper, which I'm not sure if I like. I know the blues don't match for all you anal people, but ask me if I care lol. And yes I really did make the
other card, like I said it was from Stamp Camp so when you're told what to do and how to do you, you really can't screw it up. Oh crud! I just came up with an idea where to put the words. UGH!! I guess I can just make it again lol

Therapy!

So I've discovered that Stampin is a form of therapy for me. I've had a stressful day because catty women irritate the heck outta me! I really like this card and I have no idea why. I think beige is my color though lol. OH! And I've also added a pic of my son cuz he's my therapy also except right now he's sleeping. He makes so many funny faces, I love it!

Behind

WOW! I'm really hating my camera right about now. There must be something I'm doing wrong cuz pictures of people do not turn out so crappy. It's been a few days and I've done a couple cards. I got some new punches that I'm hoping I'll be able to play with today. And oh yeah, I'm sending in my contract today for SU. WOO HOO!

The pic to your left is from my stamp set I won at an auction. I have gotten a few more ideas since this card just haven't been able to put them on paper yet :)

The card to your right is my new Bella. Frizzybella! I love her I dunno why, but I do

I used purple sparklies for her purse, that was fun. I don't like my two way glue pen though cuz too much comes out. I wanna get that glue stamp pad. Man I'll use that thing to death lol. I love new toys :D

Thursday, February 14, 2008

Thanks!

OOOH! I'm so excited! I belong to a shopping group on yahoo and I bid in an auction for some Stampin Up stuff. Well I won-woo hoo! I got my package today and man was it worth the $20 I spent. I got a Bordering Blue ink pad, All About U stamp set, beige ribbon (dunno the name-Kraft???), some punched images and Accents & Elements. I had to hurry up and make a card before the baby got up so this is what I did. It's still kinda plain, but I like it. I love neutral colors anyhow. I planned to use some powdered blue stars I got, but couldn't find a good fit for them with this card. However, with a little Stampin Up supplies I'm movin' on up (singing the theme to the Jeffersons lol).

Ma Masterpiece

OH! I LOVE makin' fun stuff like this. I thought about this for the kids at the Daytona 500 party. I think they'll LOVE it :)

Got Wine?

Sorry about the poor photo quality, but that's my camera for ya. I got to sneak this one in yesterday while baby took a 20 minute nap lol. I'm steppin' up though, I got GLITTER! Woo Hoo. I soooo want to be a SU demo, but I'm afraid because I suck so bad at this stuff. But I'm thinkin' if I do sign up, it may even help me.

Daytona 500

I can NOT wait until Sunday's Daytona 500. Have ya'll ever been to or threw a party before? What did you do as far as playing games? Did you do that? What kinda food did you make? I'd love to hear your creative ideas.

OH! And as far as what did I do productive wise with stamping/scrappin uh....I bought some things lol. Glue, glitter, ink things like that. I will hopefully be able to do something tomorrow depends on if my husband feels nice enough to get a break from the baby. Today he's not feeling so nice. GRRRR!

Blah Blah Blah

YIKES! I just noticed it's been over a week since I've posted. I must be busy you say? NOPE! lol I couldn't began to tell you what I did last week. It certainly wasn't stampin/scrappin or bloggin. I have a 12 week old if that helps. Man, I am having such a hard time with getting him to sleep on his own. I think 75% is me though. Last night I finally put him in his bouncy seat for the night (he has reflux so he can't lay flat just yet). I was up every two seconds when his breathing would change. I nearly drove myself nuts! If ya'll knew what I went through to have this baby you may understand, but that's another talk show.

I did pick the PIF winner though. It's Valerie! WOO HOO!!!!! Watch for your package :D I just received a PIF from Aura the other day. A TON of stamped Bella images. Thanks sooo much! I can't wait to get creative with them. If there is such a thing as creativity in my bones. Wait! There is, I've just yet to find it ;)

I'll try my hardest to get something done in the next few days to post. What's a stampin/scrappin blog without images, right? Ta ta for now peeps

I've been tagged by Paperlicious Oasis (Vicki)

The middle Name Game and this is what you have to do:

These are the rules: You must post the rules before you give your answers. You must list one fact about yourself for each letter of your middle name. Each fact must begin with that letter. If you don't have a middle name, just use your maiden name. After you've been tagged, you need to update your blog with your middle name and answers. At the end of your post, you need to tag one person for each letter of your middle name. (Be sure to leave them a comment telling them they've been tagged and need to read your blog for details.

A is for Antsy! I'm so ansty to get more supplies so that I can make better cards/scrapbook pages
N is for Nuts! I'm NUTS about Bella's
N is for Nice! Because I'm a nice person lol.

Pretty sad when you have a short name and you can't think of anything.

I have tagged: Aura of Design, Toni (SBS 11), Bev (SBS 11)

PIF Anybody?!?!?!

I'm so new to all this Stampin/Scrappin lingo and when I seen this I asked my friend Dawn (please be patient with me while I learn lol) about it. After 20 minutes of trying to get me to get it, I DID!!!! I thought it was a great idea so I've decided to give it a try. I will pick one person this week to PIF (Pay It Forward for others that are new ;) ). Because I've discovered Bella's and LOVE them, actually I'm addicted. I want to know what is your favorite Bella?

Beates Challenge

This is a challenge my friend Dawn told me about from Beates blog so I thought, what the heck I'll give it a try. Besides, how will I learn anything new if I don't try, right? So when I seen the layout I almost freaked because I didn't think I had any ribbon. Then I remembered I saved this lime color ribbon "just in case" I needed it lol. So then I built my colors from there. This card is so spring like and makes me want summer here. We got a ton of snow here in Michigan last night and this makes me feel a little hopeful. I probably won't win, but at least I can say I tried.

My Very First Bella

Sorry it's a little blurry, the slightest move with my camera and I get a bad pic :( I would have taken it over had I known it was so bad, but I already sent this card out. This is my very first Bella card that I did before I talked to my friend Dawn about tips. But again, I don't have much to work with yet so I'm not sure what else I would have done with it. I don't see how you can really mess up a Bella card though. I had so much fun at the PJ Party last night I can't wait for the next one. Speaking of which, I need to go place my order :D

The Recipe For Bridget
3 parts Uniqueness2 parts Sensitivity1 part Playfulness
Splash of Fun
Limit yourself to one serving. This cocktail is strong!

Lovely Calendar Page

This picture didn't turn out too good. The squares aren't as crooked (sp? lol) as they appear. This is a calendar page I made for my mom. Last year I made her the entire year and she loved it so now I have to do one for her every year. This year, however, I'm a little behind so I've been giving her the months as they come up. It is on the plain side and I'd love to add some glitter to it, but seeing as February is FRIDAY and I don't have time to get to the store this will hafta do for now. Good part about it is you'll be able to see me grow as my inventory of supplies grows. OH! And the word "FEB" was drawn by me and cut out. I am NOT an artist so this was a HUGE accomplishment for me.

VEGAS BABY!

I was so excited to make this page. There wasn't too many good photos I got when we went to Vegas (back in 06) because the polaroid digi cam I bought was a piece of CRAP! And uuhhh...nothing exciting happened because I had morning sickness so bad.

This is my last post for the day I think, now that I've caught up I need to get to work and make some more stuff to post. ::sigh:: What will I do???? I need SUPPLIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Mary Kay

I'm a Mary Kay consultant and had fun creating some inexpensive on the go gifts. I was proud of myself so I hadta post!

Stamp Camp

These are the cards I made at Stamp Camp last week. It's amazing how good cards can look with a little guidance lol

Scrapbooking!

I love to scrapbook, but I need "experience" and some fun toys to make them look fun. These are pages from my ever so fun wedding back in September 2005. We got married at the Little Wedding Chapel in Fraser and had the reception at my house. You wouldn't believe how awesome it looked! We made a dance floor on our driveway that was a HUGE

hit.

YIPEEEEEEEE!

FINALLY! My camera uploaded. Here's my "thrown" together card I mentioned earlier.

WAHHHH!

I'm getting so irritated. I FINALLY got my mouse working on my computer, but my camera connection still won't work. What the heck!!!!!!!!! I went to my friend Dawn's today to get a few tips. Well she does this thing where she just "throws things" together and they look so good. So today I came home and attempted the same thing using her tips. ROFL Wait til you see it. I'm sure it's not the worst, but it definitely ain't the best.

The Blog World

So I've decided to enter the wonder world of blogs. I couldn't come up with a name page so that's what I decided for now. Knowing me I will change it. Several times! lol I am finally going to jump in and get going on my scrapbooking and stamping and what better time to do that, but the winter. I do have a few cards and pages I've done, but until I can get my piece of crap HP computer's mouse to work you'll have to wait :(
